Antique Cast Iron Tweedledee And Tweedledum Andirons:

A very rare set of antique cast iron fireplace andirons depicting the Alice In Wonderland characters Tweedledee and Tweedledum. These were made in England in the last quarter of the 1800\'s and are missing the shanks. These are quite nicely detailed. I did clean these, but I do believe they are in original condition, but look closely at the photos and you be the judge. The holes in the backsides were drilled for the shanks to be attached, but these were evidently never used. They measure 20 3/4\" tall and 11\" wide. These are quite heavy and weigh 44.6lbs each. So, buyer would need to have these picked up and freight arranged.
