This is an antique Chinese blue and white leaf-shaped handled gravy boat, dating to the Qianlong Period of the Qing Dynasty (mid-18th century, c.1736-1795), a classic example of Chinese export porcelain made for export.Molded porcelain in a European leaf/boat shape, with a scalloped rim and a C-shaped handle. Decorated in underglaze blue, featuring a central landscape pavilion scene on the interior, with geometric and foliate border motifs around the rim.
The body is approximately 6" long ( plus the 1-1/2" handle) x 4" wide x 2" high.
It is in good condition with one chip near the pour spout and one small flake of the glaze. There are a couple of what appear to be hairline flaws in the base coat of color which do not seem to extend through the glaze.
