- This is an authentic antique Chinese Xiuyan jade carving of a recumbent mythical beast (瑞獸) from theQing Dynasty (18th-19th Century).Material:Traditional regional Xiuyan jade (岫玉). The stone features a desirable yellowish-waxy tone (黃糯) with a semi-translucent (略透) quality and a warm antique patina.Includes an original pierced hole, making it fully wearable as a daily pendant or pocket charm.Retains clear, well-preserved traditional antique tool/tuo marks (老陀痕) within the grooves. It serves as an excellent study specimen for authentic Qing Dynasty lapidary techniques.
