Antique, mid-20th, hardcover book in overall good to very good condition; the 1930s to 1950s ‘Modern Library’ edition of this title in a privately bound three quarters leather binding with textured/patterned paper leatherette covered boards. Exterior has some minor wear like rubs to the leather spine and also rubs to the outer corners and edges but is overall clean with some dusting to the outer page fore-edges. Interior of the book is overall very clean with some notations in pencil and ink on the second set of blank front endpapers. Interior has some minor age, use or shelf wear like, but not necessarily limited to, a bit of tatter to the gutter paper between the second set of front blank endpapers. Binding is tight and well intact and the book is complete with all pages present and none coming loose, detached or missing. Book has no odors.
Book totals 325 pages, measures approximately 7 x 4 7/8 x 1 inches and weighs about 1 pound.
