Antique, hardcover, late 19th century, undated but circa 1880s book based on the style of the binding. Book is bound in hardcover gold cloth and is well decorated in embossed black stamped and gold gilded text and design to the spine face and front cover. Exterior of the book is overall clean and well intact with some rubbing to the upper and lower ends of the spine and outer corner edges of the boards. Exterior also has some other minor age, use, handling or shelf wear like some very scant dust soiling to the reverse side. Interior of the book is overall clean and well intact with some light to moderate foxing to the first and last several pages and with the majority throughout very clean. Pages remain very sturdy and well intact. Book’s binding is tight and well intact and the book is complete with all pages present and none coming loose, detached or missing. Book has no odors.
Book totals 369 pages, measures approximately 9 3/8 x 7 x 1 3/8 inches and weighs about 3 1/4 pounds.
