Up for sale is an exquisite, investment-quality antique Dresden demitasse cup and saucer set from the highly acclaimed decorating studio of Ambrosius Lamm. Dating to the circa 1887–1915 period, this cabinet-quality set features a vibrant, rich yellow ground beautifully accented by heavy, elaborate raised paste gilding and ornate scrollwork.
The interior bottom of the cup features a stunning, finely detailed hand-painted floral medallion. The cup features an elegant, dainty gilded handle. Both pieces bear the authentic underglaze blue or black Ambrosius Lamm "Lamb" Dresden Germany mark on the underside.
