Early 1900’s, antique Dexter Wheel Co. of St. Louis, MO, ladies bicycle. Believe to be all original. The leather covered horsehair seat is made by Mesinger. Original black painted metal frame, minor bending over back wheel. The wooden wheels are straight and in excellent condition for age and use. Possibly original tires, one is labeled ‘Schrader’ on the air valve. Provenance: In the 1980’s, the bicycle was found in the attic of a house a family member purchased. In recent years, someone in the family wrapped the handlebars but the grips are underneath. See photos for condition.
