Antique French La Mode Illustrée Victorian Fashion Plate Engraving Print Framed
Good pre-owned antique condition. Colors are bold and bright. Glass is intact with no chips or cracks. Wood frame shows age with several surface marks, and an area of repair in lower left corner with a visible crack and small nails on either side to hole the piece in place. Rough edges of the print can be seen near edge of frame. Please see the examples provided in the listing photos.
Framed antique La Mode Illustrée hand-colored fashion engraving from the late 19th century. Print features a colorful detailed illustration of two young women interacting by artist Adèle-Anaïs Toudouze. Nicely framed in a distinctive dark wood "Black Forest" style frame with carved leaf motifs at the corners.
Frame measures approximately 19"x15" at widest points.
