This late 19th century piece features French Louis XV design elements, including an ornate hand-carved scrolled crest along the pediment top, a single large glass panel door, cabriole scrolled feet, and rich dark walnut wood tones. There is a lower drawer on the outside of the cabinet and a lower drawer along the interior of the cabinet. There are 2 glass shelves for the interior and a key to lock the glass front door.
Cabinets like this are often used as china cabinets, bookcase vitrines, or display armoires.
The cabinet is in antique condition. Some veneer loss to the edges and corners of the cabinet throughout. Some missing molding near the top of the cabinet (photographed). Surface scratches and scuff marks to the veneer. Glass door and glass shelves are in good condition. No chips or cracks to the glass. Please see all photos.
