This Antique French Palais Royal White Opaline Egg Perfume/Jewelry Casket (1880s) is in pristine condition! The glorious gilded brass mounts are perfection. It is very difficult to find the mounts so luminous. The photos didn’t capture how beautiful and shiny the brass mounts are. It features a center hinged mount with top leafy acorn finial. It opens to reveal an immaculate interior. The shimmering tripod stand has embellished legs and leaf adornment and chain detailing all around the tripod. Most these days are missing their chain detail making this piece extra special.
No chips, hinges are fully intact and working, with a fully stable base. Normal age. Normal gilt loss. Wonderful condition.
