This is an exquisite antique French Provincial bombe chest, a distinctive dresser or commode featuring a beautiful marble top and a gracefully curved, or 'bombe,' silhouette. The piece showcases a classic off-white or cream finish, highlighting its elegant form and ornate details. The top surface is crafted from a rich, multi-toned marble, presenting a unique pattern of brown, cream, and black veining that complements the body's color. The chest is equipped with three spacious drawers, each adorned with decorative, ornate metal pull handles in an antique bronze tone. Further enhancing its vintage appeal are the intricate carved accents visible on the sides and feet, characteristic of the Rococo or Baroque style.
