Beautiful late 19th century Victorian Renaissance Revival mantel clock, featuring an elaborate gilt and silvered metal case with pierced scrollwork, figural masks, animal-head details and paw feet. Ornate dial with individual porcelain Roman numeral cartouches and finely decorated center. Beveled glass in the front and the back. Mechanical movement numbered 18370, no makers mark.
An unusually elaborate and difficult-to-find example with wonderful period detail and patina. Includes winding key. Clock is currently not running and is sold as-is for repair or restoration. Please see photos for condition.
