This lot includes the 4 Volumes of William Witherings \" Arrangement Of British Plants \" . Printed in 1818 by a cooperative of publishers the leather covers are unfortunately in extremely poor condition, but internally the books are in better condition. Internally some pages have damp and foxing, but most are reasonable. The books are readable and useable, some nice copper plate black and white pictures, diagrams, they do have some wonderful antique marbling on the inner of the book covers.
So 4 volumes of Georgian books, 208 years old in poor but useable condition. A chance to buy some affordable antique Volumes of botanical interest.
