Charming antique bisque porcelain Piano Baby figurine depicting a little girl holding a pair of binoculars or opera glasses.
The figurine measures approximately 3 3/4” (9.5 cm) tall, measured from the seated base to the top of the head.
The girl has beautifully detailed facial features with hand-painted eyebrows, eyelashes, lips and rosy cheeks. Her eyes appear to be inset glass eyes, giving the face a particularly expressive and lifelike appearance. She wears a removable wig.
Overall, the figurine is in very good antique condition. All fingers are intact. Upon careful inspection, I did not find any chips or cracks. Please note that there are visible traces of old glue around the hair/wig area. The wig is removable.
No maker’s mark, signature, impressed number, or factory stamp was found. Because the figurine is unmarked, the exact manufacturer cannot be confirmed.
Please review all photos carefully as they are an important part of the description and show the exact condition of this antique figurine.
Approximate height: 3 3/4” (9.5 cm).
A wonderful small antique Piano Baby with an unusual binoculars / opera glasses subject, perfect for a collection of antique German bisque, Piano Babies, or early porcelain figurines.
