To the naked eye, the flat print creates a trompe-l'œil illusion that looks like a raised plaster, jasperware, or wax cameo.The picture is housed in a rectangular, lightweightstamped faux-gilt metal or brass-plated tin framefeaturing a decorative beaded inner border and ornate corner scrollwork.The reverse features simplified, authentic dollhouse miniature construction.
