Charming antique miniature cast iron Scottish Terrier / Scottie dog figurine, attributed to Hubley Manufacturing Co.
This tiny seated Scottie features a textured black coat, pointed ears and a hand-painted red collar with remnants of gold-colored buckle detail. Similar Hubley miniature dogs from the 1920s–1930s were produced as party favors/place-card holders, with the dog's mouth used to hold a small name card.
Approximately 1.5" tall. Please refer to the ruler and quarter shown in the photographs for scale.
The figure is unmarked, so Hubley attribution is based on comparison with known examples rather than a visible maker's mark.
Antique condition with expected paint wear, small areas of exposed metal and age-related patina. The original character has been left intact and the piece has not been repainted.
