Today I am offering this stunning antique ruffled carnival glass bowl produced by the Imperial Glass Company.
It features the collectible \"Pansy\" interior pattern with the classic geometric \"Arcs\" pattern on the exterior back.
This piece is pressed from Helios green base glass and exhibits a spectacular, highly reactive neon-green glow under UV light.
It is especially concentrated on the underside base and the rim.
As you can see from my final photo, the concentration of uranium oxide is so high that it is strong enough to fluoresce in regular ambient room lighting.
This piece measures approximately as follows:
- 9\" from side to side across the top opening
- 2\" deep
It is in good pre-owned antique condition with strong iridescence.
There are several minor chips on the underside rim at the apex of the ruffled folds.
There are no cracks, scratches, or major structural issues.
It still displays beautifully.
I have taken close-up pictures and circled the flaws in pink so you can clearly see the issues I have described in great detail.
