A charming small-format Indian devotional miniature painting depicting Shrinathji, the celebrated form of Lord Krishna particularly associated with the Vaishnava Pushtimarg tradition and Nathdwara.
The dark-complexioned deity is shown standing frontally within a richly colored shrine-like architectural setting. The figure is elaborately adorned with layers of white and silver-toned ornamentation and jewellery, set dramatically against a vivid orange-red aureole. Deep blue architectural elements flank the deity, while green circular details and finely painted borders complete the compact composition.
Across the upper portion of the miniature is a line of hand-painted Devanagari inscription, adding further devotional and traditional character to the work.
Despite its remarkably small scale, the painting contains an impressive amount of detail. The artist has used a strong palette of deep blue, orange-red, white, silver-grey, green, yellow and black, producing a jewel-like devotional image intended to draw attention toward the central deity.
The miniature is presented on a brown backing within a substantial beige natural-fabric-covered presentation mount, giving the small painting a much larger and attractive display presence. The reverse is covered in plain brown backing material.
The painting itself shows the irregular handmade edges expected of a small work on paper, including some loss/irregularity along the right edge. These characteristics are clearly visible in the close-up photographs and contribute to the object\'s individual appearance.
This would make an appealing addition to a collection of Indian miniature paintings, Krishna art, Shrinathji devotional images, Nathdwara paintings, Pichwai-related art, Hindu religious art or traditional Indian works on paper.
The attribution to Shrinathji is based on the visible iconography and inscription. Exact artist, date and regional workshop have not been independently established.

The actual hand-painted miniature is much smaller, approximately 2–2½ inches in scale.
