We are offering a six-panel folding screen with character, believed to be from the late Edo period (around the early 1800s).

Each panel features small works thoughtfully painted by multiple different artists, resulting in a highly captivating collection of diverse artworks.

As for the painting depicted, we estimate it to be even older than the screen itself, possibly from the late 1700s. However, since this has not been authenticated or dated by an expert, the age and authorship are based on stories passed down within the family and my own research. Thank you for your understanding.

It has been carefully stored in the attic since around 1972 and has been passed down through generations within the family. I carefully took it out this time.

As this is an antique item, there may be signs of wear such as dirt, scratches, stains, scuffs, and other deterioration due to age. Please check the condition in the photos. Recommended for those who appreciate antiques and collectibles.
