This is a beautiful Japanese bronze hibachi. It came from an sale of a large collector of various Japanese and chinese items. They authenticated it as being from the early to mid 19th century. It is very well-made. It has a small spot in the bottom of it where it is creased in a little bit I assume it is from a drop many years ago. It also has a small repair in the bottom. I assume to repair a pin leak. It is quite large at 15 inches wide and 9.5 inches tall. Great display piece as it is or maybe put some plants or something inside of it.
