This water pitcher is of the Meander pattern produced by Jefferson Glass of Steubenville, Ohio in the years of 1903-1907 or 8. This Buttons and Braids pattern is made with the Uranium element as can be seen in the first 4 photos under a black light. The pitch shows a very vivid iridescent glow especially from the handle and heavier parts of the piece. Please note that none uranium pieces show a purple glow under the black light, the result of other elements.This pitcher is in excellent condition. It has been in my wife's family for at least 80 years as her grandmother was an avid collector.
There is also a matching 3 leg dish under separate listing which is not uranium, but is also in excellent condition.
