Antique Large Apothecary Mortar and Pestle 16 Pound 1900s Cast Iron Pharmacy:
$225.00
-Original large antique cast iron mortar and pestle. Beautiful heavy iron. Guaranteed to last a lifetime. These early pestle mortar sets are very hard to find. Don\'t be fooled by modern reproductions! This particular piece was owned by a family who operated a Pharmacy in Traverse City Michigan throughout the early 19th century. Fantastic embossed decoration around the edge. Very old peeling felt on the bottom. Very heavy for its size! 16 Pounds!
Size: 6 3/4\" wide top 6\" tall 9\" long pestle
