Original Mandalian Mfg. Co. enameled metal mesh purse featuring a beautiful hand-painted floral motif in cream, teal, burgundy, blue, brown, and black enamel. This elegant antique purse showcases Mandalian's signature finely woven enameled metal mesh, ornate silver-tone frame, decorative floral engraving, original chain handle, and chain fringe tassels.

Manufactured by the Mandalian Manufacturing Company of the United States during the early 1900s (approximately 1915–1925), this purse retains the original MANDALIAN MFG CO stamp inside the frame, confirming authenticity. Mandalian purses are among the most collectible antique mesh handbags and remain highly sought after by collectors of Art Nouveau, Art Deco, vintage fashion, and early American accessories.

The purse opens and closes, however the clasp does not latch securely due to a damaged/missing frame hook. There is mesh separation along the upper left side near the frame, while the majority of the mesh remains attached. Several bottom fringe chains are missing or uneven, and the enamel finish displays expected age-related wear, paint loss, scratches, oxidation, and tarnish throughout.

The ornate silver-tone frame features beautifully engraved floral and scrollwork detailing with the original decorative flower push-button clasp. The original chain handle remains attached.
