Antique Meissen Strawflower Blue & Brown Cafe Au Lait Tea Bowl & Saucer C. 1750Rare early pre Marcolini porcelain tea bowl and saucer in the Strawflower pattern. Fluted on the outside with a brown Cafe Au Lait color. Hand painted underglaze blue Chinese style floral design on the inside. Marked on the bottom with the blue underglaze crossed swords mark. Circa 1750.Has wear consistent with age and use, and the tea bowl has a small flake to the lip, and an unglazed area to the foot of rim of the tea bowl, but otherwise good condition.
The teal bowl measures approximately 3 inches wide including the handle x 1 7/8 inches tall.
The saucer measures approximately 5 inches wide.This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
