Antique Moser Style Bohemian Emerald Green Glass CompoteEnamel Floral Gold Gilt
This is a 116-146 years old antique Bohemian artglass pedestal compote, sometimes referred to as a tazza.
The emerald green glass bowl is heavily decorated with thickgold gilt scrolling and raised, hand-painted enamel florals in shades of pink,blue, yellow, and white. The bowl rests on a dark, slender glass stem thattransitions into a flared base featuring concentric gold banding.
The piece stands approximately 5 inches tall and 5 ½ incheswide. The intricate floral and gilt craftsmanship strongly aligns with the workof premier late 19th-century Czech glasshouses like Moser, Harrach, orEgermann.
This stunning piece is from 1880–1910. This heavily enameledand gilded aesthetic was a hallmark of the late Victorian and early Art Nouveauperiods.
This is an Unsigned Bohemian enameled compote.
