This attractive machine features elaborate gold and floral decals, a large spoked hand wheel, and its original wooden base with a decorative bentwood cover. The ends of the case have carved floral and foliate designs, making this an especially appealing display piece.
The hand crank turns and the visible mechanisms move, including the needle assembly. It has not been tested with fabric or thread and is therefore being sold as mechanically moving but otherwise untested. It may need cleaning, lubrication, adjustment, or servicing before regular use.
