This stunning statement piece stands 9.75 inches tall and features a beautifully executed, hand-painted central reserve showcasing a vibrant pink Cattleya Orchid against a soft, pastel gradient background. The orchid panel is framed by a rich, deep cobalt blue glaze accented with extensive, elaborate gold moriage (raised relief) detailing.
Makers Mark:Features the highly collectible, authentic green "M-in-Wreath" stamp on the base, reading "Hand Painted NIPPON". This mark represents the Morimura Brothers, the direct historical predecessor to the world-renowned Noritake company.
Condition:Excellent / Pristine Antique Condition. This piece has been meticulously preserved. Unlike most pieces from this era, the delicate raised gold moriage beading is in spectacular, intact condition with virtually no missing elements or heavy wear. There are absolutely no chips, cracks, hairlines, or previous repairs. The glaze retains its brilliant luster.
