Antique Noritake Grasmere, pattern number 76567, made in Japan in the 1920s. Ivory porcelain with a cobalt and gold band, gold filigree and pink and blue floral cartouches, with hand gilded handles on the cups and serving pieces. The Grasmere pattern was introduced around 1921 and has long been discontinued.

CONDITION — No chips, no cracks, no crazing. The gold trim is bright with only light wear consistent with age and careful use. Every piece has been hand washed and is ready to use or display. All pieces are shown in the photos.
MARKS — The backstamp is photographed and carries the Noritake \"M in Wreath\" mark of the Morimura Brothers, used from 1918 to about 1941, with the text: NORITAKE / MADE IN JAPAN / GRASMERE / U.S. DESIGN PATENTED / 76567. \"Made in Japan\" was required on imports from 1921 and the Grasmere pattern was introduced that same year, which dates this set to the 1920s.
CARE — Hand wash only. Not microwave safe: the trim is real gold.
SHIPPING — Each piece is wrapped individually in tissue and bubble wrap, packed in double-walled boxes with padding between layers, and shipped in 4 boxes. Local pickup is welcome in Hutchinson, Minnesota.
