A magnificent 19th-century antique landscape, painted in oil on canvas, most likely by a follower of the famous French artist Georges Michel (1763–1843). This work, titled "Le Moulin" ("The Windmill"), depicts a dramatic rural scene with a windmill against a stormy sky, typical of the Dutch influence on French landscape painting. Michel, known as the "French Ruisdael," often depicted the Parisian countryside with elements such as windmills, stormy clouds, and flat landscapes, which perfectly matches the composition of this painting.
