Beautiful Pair of Vintage Chinese Export Turquoise & Aubergine Glazed Porcelain 🦜 parrots.Up for sale is a stunning matched pair of vintage Chinese export porcelain parrot figurines. These classic Chinoiserie figures feature a vibrant, glossy turquoise blue glaze on the bodies, contrast pale green beaks and feet, and are perched atop detailed, textured tree stump bases in a deep aubergine/brown glaze.
Both figurines feature the impressed oval "CHINA" export mark on their unglazed ceramic bases, dating them to the mid-20th century. They display beautifully on a mantel, bookshelf, or entry table.

NOTE-Bird 1: In excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Glaze is bright and glossy.• Bird 2: Has a chip missing out of the inner rim of the bottom opening. This flaw cannot be seen. See picture. Otherwise, there are no chips or cracks.
