Early dated 1915 primitive decoy hand carved by a lobsterman named Orrin Wallace. Dated on bottom with a horseshoe as a weight; Signed Orrin Wallace .Measures about 14 inches long and 8 inches high to the top of his head.We purchased the decoy at Bourne\'s sale in Hyannis in the early 1970\'s.The Waldoborough Maine Historical Society was kind enough to provide information on Orrin who lived in Back Cove.
