Antique/vintage sewing scissors lot of two.
Includes:
• R.J. Roberts scissors — approximately 4½” long
Clearly marked R.J. ROBERTS / BUFFALO
• Germany-marked scissors — approximately 3½” long
Clearly stamped GERMANY
Both are sturdy old metal sewing/needlework scissors with attractive age and patina.
The R.J. Roberts pair is the standout piece of the lot and retains a very readable maker/location stamp.
The smaller German pair shows more oxidation and discoloration around the pivot and blades. Both pairs show normal scratches, surface wear and age-related patina.
Please review all photos carefully for exact condition, markings, blade condition and wear. No attempt has been made to heavily polish or restore them.
Nice lot for collectors of antique sewing tools, vintage notions, embroidery scissors or early household implements.
