Antique real photo postcard (RPPC) with a portrait of a young man sitting outdoors in a spindle-back wooden chair. He wears a newsboy-style flat cap, a wool suit jacket, a white shirt, dark trousers and lace-up boots, and looks straight at the camera with his hands resting on his knees. Behind him are tall trees, birch trunks and thick undergrowth, which suggests a rural or backwoods setting. The print has warm sepia tones, and the white border is intact on all sides.
The back is undivided except for a printed center line, with "POST CARD" in outline lettering and a NOKO stamp box. NOKO photographic postcard stock was in use from about 1907 into the 1920s, and the clothing fits the 1910s. There is no writing, postmark or stamp, apart from a small pencil notation in the lower corner.
This is an unidentified sitter. It would suit collectors of early 20th-century photography, vintage menswear and workwear, rural Americana, or anyone building a found-photo or "instant ancestor" collection.

Condition:Good antique condition for age. The image is clear and well contrasted, with light overall toning. The front has a small brown mark at the top edge of the border, light surface soiling, and minor darkening along the lower right edge of the image. The corners show light wear and slight rounding. The back is toned, with foxing and scattered brown spots, mostly around the stamp box and along the upper edge, plus a small pencil notation in the lower corner. No tears or creases observed. Unused and unposted.
