Antique Spanish Style Wicker Seat Stenciled Chair in Excellent Condition For Sale

This chair is absolutely beautiful. It’s part of a recent lot of antiques that I’ve taken in for a client of ours. Most of his items were. However, after doing some research, I actually believe this is a Spanish chair. The main reason I believe that is because of the wood. Unlike traditional Hitchcock chairs, this chair is actually light. The Hitchcock Chairs tend to be heavier and their seats are higher. This seat is low. It almost feels like sturdy driftwood. In fact, you can see in the picture I took the top of one of the knobs is kind of split open and it’s not really a dense heavy duty wood. Despite the chair being light weight. I’m 250 pounds and I sat in it with no issue. It was redone recently. The paintings are fantastic. There’s paintings on both the top as well as right underneath the seat. There’s a few minor chips and scratches. Not many since this was redone. The paint still looks great and the chair still looks great. it is a smaller chair so shipping is expensive but it won’t be atrocious. The chairs only 35 inches tall. I did fill the measurements correctly on the item description. And I did take pictures of this.Besides traditional method of shipping there are three options. You can pick us up in Brookfield Connecticut. You can also hire a third-party company of your choosing such as uship.com. or you can find out where I might be going next as a mover I do travel all over the country and typically if you meet me on my route, I don’t charge anything to bring the furniture out to you if I have to go out for out I do charge. But the shipping on this chair doesn’t overly me because of the size of the chair. It should be very easy and ship it. It certainly does not come apart. There’s no screws. I believe this is made with 100% Wood.
