Antique early to mid 19th century Sheffield plate double inkwell. Beautiful heavy silverplate with rosette and acanthus detail lion’s head masks with articulating ring handles. Armorial crest/shield engraved to hinged lid.Interior retaining both original faceted glass inkwells.Interesting sarcophagus/ paneled design.Minor areas of light wear, surfaces scratches, and surface oxidation. Overall very nice antique condition.Measures 3 3/8 H x 9 3/8 W x 5 1/4” D overall
