Beautiful antique chatelaine belt clip, made of 800 silver, featuring an angel/cherub with wings blowing a trumpet/horn, framed by rococo swirls. This piece would have been attached to a belt and would of had multiple chains dangling from it, each being a useful household device such as scissors, keys, thimble holder, etc. Now it can be worn as a brooch clipped over a neckline collar, or sweater, or wear over belt as an accessory, or dangle on a chain as a pendant.
It is in very good condition, with age related wear, still a fabulous piece! Add chains one each side with dangling charms from them, many uses! Measures approx. 2 3/4\" x 1 3/4\". Marked 800 and hallmark looks like FE?.
Item is used/pre-owned and described to the best of my ability, so check photos carefully before offerding, to determine/judge condition/size for yourself.
