Condition: Used, AntiqueDescription:
Up for sale is a beautiful matching pair of genuine antique Victorian Amberina art glass toothpick holders (or small cordials/tumblers), dating from the 1880sā1890s. These pieces feature the classic heat-reactive Amberina coloration, grading seamlessly from a rich amber-yellow base to a vibrant cranberry-red rim. They are blown in a distinct \"Inverted Thumbprint\" (coin spot) optic pattern, characterized by a bulbous lower body, a narrow constricted waist, and a wide flared collar rim. True to late 19th-century craftsmanship, both pieces feature a distinct ground and polished pontil mark on the base, confirming they are authentic hand-blown art glass from the Victorian era (highly consistent with production by Hobbs, Brockunier & Co. or New England Glass Co.) rather than mid-century molded reproductions.Condition Report:
Excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Very minor, normal shelf wear on the ground bases consistent with age. Glass remains clear and vibrant. Please review all photos as they form part of the description.Shipping & Handling:
