Up for sale is a gorgeous, highly cohesive lot of three (3) authentic antique Victorian-era black glass buttons (circa 1880–1900). Often referred to as "French Jet" from the Victorian mourning fashion movement, these three pieces share identical sizing, base material, and backing structures, making them an incredible find for antique textile collectors, historical garment restorers, or unique jewelry makers!

1. Geometric Amethyst Foil Inlay Button: A stunning composite piece featuring a smooth black glass border with a crisp, hexagonal (6-sided) center cutout. Nestled inside the window is a beautiful, textured foil inlay that flashes deep amethyst-purple and pink hues when it catches the light.
2. Silver Platinum Luster Swirl Button: A highly decorative button featuring a molded, swirling pinwheel/triskelion pattern. The raised sections are beautifully coated in a bright silver metallic luster fired directly into the glass, accented with tiny stamped dot detailing.
3. Classic Grooved Domed Button: A beautifully understated companion piece featuring a smooth, glossy domed surface accented by elegant, sweeping curved grooves along one side.

• Front Faces: Excellent antique condition with minimal scratching. (View photos for details). The molded details are sharp, the glass retains a beautiful high-gloss luster, and the delicate silver paint has held up remarkably well over the last 120+ years with minimal rubbing.
• Backs/Undersides: All three buttons feature an authentic, all-glass molded self-shank (sewing loop) built directly into the button body. The reverse sides show normal, authentic age-related dust and light patina inside the recesses—confirming their genuine age perfectly to collectors. All sewing loops are completely clear and structurally sound.
