Antique Victorian bubble glass brass framed oval hanging child's portrait. The entire piece measures 23" in length from the top of the frame detail to the base and 14.5" wide. The part where the picture goes inside the frame measures 13.5" x 19.5". Features a brass frame and back with a brass colored plated metal ornate floral and scroll decoration on the top. Has a wire hanger across the back and has brass tabs that can be lifted up to remove the back and change the picture if you so desired. Has curved / domed / convex bubble glass and features a child's portrait. In good vintage condition, but does have some wear, mainly that the top part of the ornate trim is missing. The tip seems to have broken off, but it's not really that noticeable when hung. The glass also has a few light scratches that are visible only upon close inspection in certain light. The brass frame has some patina throughout, and the back has some scratches and wear, but it would not be visible when hung. Please see the photos for details.
