ANTIQUE CONDITIONThis is a genuine antique, previously owned and hand-refinished piece of furniture and is not a new item.
It may retain normal signs of age, previous use, construction irregularities, minor marks, finish variations, historic repairs, and other imperfections consistent with genuine antique furniture.
The drawers function and open and close as expected for furniture of this age, but buyers should not expect the precision or glide of modern manufactured drawer systems.
Please carefully review all listing photographs, as they are considered an important part of the condition description and show the actual item being sold. Photos may show details, variations, repairs, or imperfections that are difficult to fully describe in writing.
Colors and wood tones may also appear somewhat different depending on lighting, screen settings, and viewing conditions.
If you would like an additional photograph, measurement, or close-up of any area, please message before purchasing. I am happy to provide it.
LEAD-SAFE DISCLOSUREDuring restoration, portions of older underlying painted or finished material tested positive for lead.
Affected remaining areas were sealed beneath a protective coating as part of the restoration process. This disclosure is provided so the buyer is aware that lead-containing material may remain beneath the current sealed finish.
The current finish should not be aggressively sanded, scraped, burned, or otherwise disturbed without appropriate lead-safe practices and precautions.
