A beautiful and unusually ornate silver-plated teapot or spirit kettle with a matching decorative stand, manufactured by Harris & Land of Sheffield in 1863-64. This set has intricate embossed patterns, beaded borders, and a small face detail on the handle attachment. The kettle sits on a stand secured by a chain and pin mechanism. There is substantial age-related wear to the electroplated surface, with areas of plating loss exposing the base metal. Please note that there is no burner included.The kettle is very large, standing at 17 inches in height when on the stand, with a base width of 12 inches.
