The original partners in the Knowles, Taylor and Knowles Company were Isaac Knowles, John Taylor and Homer Knowles. The Pottery produced Rockingham, yellowware, and ironstone (granite) ware. It is best known for Lotus ware. The company was in business from 1854 to 1931.
