Offered is an antique violin bow, likely Saxon / Bohemian (Markneukirchen / Schönbach region), dating circa 1885–1900.
The bow is made from quality pernambuco wood and mounted in copper alloy. It weighs 55 grams and balances at approximately 19 cm, giving it a light, flexible and controlled feel.

The bow has recently been professionally rehaired in Utrecht (NL) and is ready to play.
There is no visible maker’s stamp.
Condition
The frog shows an old, stable repair on the frog. The repair is structurally secure and does not affect playability. The stick is straight with a healthy camber. The bow presents honest age and use consistent with a late 19th century example.
Playing characteristics
The bow feels light, flexible and responsive. It does not exhibit uncontrolled bouncing and draws a stable tone across different instruments.
