Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible set of four antique hand-carved wooden molds. Traditionally used for making European Springerle cookies, Speculaas, or pressed butter, these unique folk-art pieces feature intricate, deeply carved intaglio designs.
Each block features highly detailed motifs enclosed in classic notched oval and braided heart borders.

Block 1 (2-Oval Slim): Top: Cornucopia/Horn of Plenty | Bottom: Sitting Rabbit/Hare
Block 2 (4-Heart Block): Features romantic folk designs including two different birds perched on branches and two distinct floral/cherry sprig motifs.
Block 3 (4-Oval Block): Features a luck mushroom, a perched bird, a leaping fish, and a flower basket.
Block 4 (2-Oval Slim): Top: Detailed Owl perched on a branch | Bottom: Flower Basket/Flower Pot.
