Condition Details:
This Bible shows substantial age-related deterioration to the binding. The leather is heavily worn, dry, rubbed, and frayed with losses at corners and edges. There is separation between the covers and text block in areas, along with damaged inner lining/endpaper material. Pages are toned with occasional spotting and wear. The interior text remains readable, and the surviving color maps display nicely.
Because of the fragile antique binding, this is best suited for collecting, display, historical interest, restoration, or careful reference use rather than regular daily reading.
