Authentic antique Parisian chemise de nuit, circa WWI, no stains, cotton, filet lace intact, superb condition, sturdy and wearableThis is a sturdy early 20th century chemise purchased at the Marché aux Puces over 40 years ago and stored in a trunk. Filet lace around the neckline is gorgeous. All handwork at hem and sleeves seems intact. (See pictures.) Falls straight from shoulders with only a slight center pleat for movement. Has not been worn since purchase (not so sure it ever was. Heavy cotton woven fabric. No rips, no blood or rust stains, no holes.Slight sleeve effect formed by drop shoulder. Measures 41 inches from shoulder to hem.
Measures 24 inches from pit to pit (but that is without the back pleat stretched out, so there is actually much more ease in the garment).
