A TANTO IN KOSHIRAE WITH KOZUKA, WITH TSUBA, NO SAGEO
Japan, probably Edo period (1615-1868)
Condition:This is an authentic historic Japanese *tantō* sword. The entire sword is in very poor condition. The blade has numerous nicks, a broken tip, and patches of surface rust. The *saya* is also heavily damaged. The copper *tsuba* does not originally belong to this sword and requires fitting. The *fuchi* and *kashira* are very fine. The sword is suitable for a complete restoration or as a source of spare parts.
NOTE: This is really old antiques. The buyers should be understand there is a case of those have some flaws.The items are as shown in the photos as is.
