The Apple II Rev 0 Reproduction Kit features a through-hole mounting style and a double-sided PCB design. It operates on 5V voltage and is made of FR-4 material, with a height of 1.6mm. This kit is a reproduction of the original Apple II Rev 0 board, manufactured in China. It is a popular choice for electronic enthusiasts and hobbyists looking to create their own version of the iconic Apple II computer.
IMPORTANT UPDATE — NEW STANDARD MEMORY CONFIGURATION
From now on, all parts kits and fully assembled systems will ship exclusively with our new 8 × 4164 DRAM adapter solution, as shown in Photo 4. It fully replaces the original 24 × 4116 RAM chips. The adapter installs in Slot 0 and also provides Apple II Language Card functionality, significantly expanding usable memory.
Reliable 4116 chips are now scarce, expensive, and often available only as used parts with hidden faults; sourcing and testing them greatly increases labor and product cost. 4164 RAM is still available in dependable quantities, making this solution more reliable and economical. Future 4164 supply cannot be guaranteed, so customers who want this kit are encouraged to order early.

Whether you're reliving memories or discovering vintage tech for the first time, this product offers authenticity, ease of use, and endless retro fun.
Additional note on component sourcing: Due to increasing scarcity and difficulty in sourcing certain vintage chips, we've had to source some ICs and components from tested and guaranteed working used stock. Every chip and component included in our kits has been thoroughly tested by powering up on an actual Apple II system, ensuring functionality and reliability before shipment. This meticulous testing process requires substantial labor and expertise, increasing our operational costs.
Enthusiasts attempting to self-source components based solely on the original Apple II BOM often face challenges, such as receiving non-functional or counterfeit chips. Our fully tested kits eliminate this frustration, allowing you to confidently and smoothly complete your Apple II build.
