Up for sale is the remaining parts assembly from a 2022 Apple MacBook Air 13.6" M2, Model A2681, Starlight.
This is a great donor machine for an Apple repair technician, refurbisher, repair shop, or parts buyer who already has a compatible logic board or needs genuine Apple A2681 components.
Rather than stripping every usable component individually, we're selling the remaining assembly together with the original internal components, cables, brackets, covers, hardware and small screws shown in the photographs.

Apple's A2681 is the 2022 M2 MacBook Air platform with a 13.6" 2560 × 1664 Liquid Retina display, MagSafe 3 and two Thunderbolt/USB 4 ports.
🔧 CONDITION / IMPORTANT INFORMATION
FOR PARTS OR NOT WORKING — SOLD AS-IS WITH NO GUARANTEE OF FUNCTIONALITY.
The original MacBook experienced a Coke/liquid spill in the keyboard area and subsequently would not power on.
During disassembly, dried Coke/liquid residue was found primarily in the logic-board and Touch ID area.
The logic board/motherboard and Touch ID/power-button sensor have been completely removed and ARE NOT INCLUDED.
The bottom/back cover has also been removed and IS NOT INCLUDED.

Buyer will need to supply a compatible logic board and other missing components if attempting to rebuild this into a complete computer.

🖥️ DISPLAY
The main LCD viewing area appears physically good with no obvious damage to the active screen area.
There is visible scratching/chipping/cracking along portions of the lower black display/bezel area near the hinges, as shown in the photographs.
Because the original MacBook did not power on, the display could not be functionally tested.
The display is therefore being sold as UNTESTED with NO GUARANTEE, even though the main screen area appears physically intact.
🔋 BATTERY
The original battery assembly is included.
The battery appears physically good with no obvious swelling visible.
Because the MacBook could not be powered on, battery health, cycle count, capacity and charging operation could not be verified.
Battery is UNTESTED and NOT GUARANTEED.

A2681 components continue to have significant replacement value. Repair-parts suppliers separately sell the display, battery, trackpad, USB-C board, audio board, speakers, cables and numerous other components for this model.
For reference, iFixit currently lists a used A2681 upper-case/battery assembly at $179.99, an A2681 battery at $119.99, and a trackpad at $89.99. Those are retail replacement prices rather than the value of this untested lot, but they illustrate the parts contained in the assembly.
