Art Deco modernist box, vintage 1930s, likely produced in Germany or Austria. The piece combines chromed brass with varnished wood. The lid features a guilloché pattern surrounding a black central panel. The interior is divided into compartments. Its proportions and material combination are consistent with decorative objects influenced by modernist and late Bauhaus design of the period. The box is unsigned.

Good condition with light age patina: tiny oxidation spots, small losses of chrome layer in a few places and minor losses of black paint on the lid.Please refer to photos.3. DIMENSIONS
